Back by popular demand: MCM’s Summer Backpack Journalism Academy!
Join us for one of our three fun filled sessions
June 18 – 29 (grades 9 – 12)
July 2 – 13 (grades 6 – 9),
July – 16 – 27 (grades 9 – 12)
Classes are weekdays from 10am -1pm
Montgomery County teens (grades 6 – 12) will definitely get an experience of a lifetime during their two weeks at MCM’s Summer Backpack Journalism Academy. Students will learn how to compose stories, shoot with an HD camera and edit their footage into a news story that will air on the Montgomery Channel, Access 19 and the web. Of course, participants get a DVD copy of the show.
