1. Council in Virtual Session: Montgomery County Council meets virtually at 9 a.m. The council is expected to set health regulations for summer camps to limit the spread of the coronavirus. The council will also present proclamations recognizing the Kojo Nnamdi Show, Herman Taylor and the Minority Business Economic Council, and Child Abuse Prevention Month. Here’s a full look at the agenda of the meeting. The meeting will be televised on County Cable Montgomery Channels Comcast HD 996 and SD6, RCN HD 1056 and SD 6, and Verizon 30. Additionally, it will be live-streamed on the council’s Facebook and Youtube channels.

2. County COVID-19 Testing Clinics: Free COVID-19 testing is available throughout the county at eight testing sites today. Health officials continue to stress the importance of testing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

3. Gaithersburg Chorus Concert: The Gaithersburg Chorus will release their spring session song on the on the Arts on the Green’s Facebook and Vimeo pages. The song they’ll be performing is “It’s You I Like” Fred Rogers of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.

4. Do Not Forget Your Donut: If you’ve gotten your vaccination shot, don’t forget that—in theory—you can get a free donut every day at Krispy Kreme by presenting your vaccination card.

5. Annapolis Film Festival: The Annapolis Film Festival is underway now through April 18. This year’s festival features “A Journey Upstream,” which was produced by two Brookeville brothers—Andrew and Eric Braker.
