The sounds of young musicians will fill The Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club on Monday, June 26. It will be the first public performance by the new Bethesda Blues & Jazz Youth Orchestra. The group started rehearsing at the supper club in April.

The Supper Club’s owner Rick Brown established a foundation to support the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Youth Orchestra. The group is expected to have 20 members in addition to an eight-member string section. Applications are still being accepted and auditions held for youth ages 10 to 16.
