BOE Issues Statement on Superintendent’s Contract

Joshua StarrMontgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Board of Education President Patricia O’Neill released the following statement on Feb. 1 regarding discussions about Superintendent Joshua Starr’s contract:

“The Montgomery County Board of Education and Dr. Joshua P. Starr continue to discuss his future as superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools. Those conversations will continue tomorrow and we anticipate making a further statement on Tuesday. Until that time, there will be no further comment on this matter by members of the Board or Dr. Starr.”
