HarveysGod'sConnectionTransitionKatzRiceArnoldHarveySpeaks 2-10-15Gaithersburg resident Arnold Harvey is congratulated by Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice on Feb. 10 as he and his wife Theresa were honored for their work to end poverty through the non-profit organization they founded in 2007 known as God’s Connection Transition Organization (GCT).

Arnold Harvey was recently recognized by Fortune Magazine as a Fortune 500 Hero for being “an everyday person who is changing the world.”

Among those pictured at the ceremonies in Rockville were: Susie Sinclair-Smith of the Montgomery Coalition for the Homeless; Angela Harvey and Raphael Clement of GCT; and Councilmember Sidney Katz.
