Cougar Relays (Photos)


QOHS Coach Seann Pelkey prepares to start the “Devil Takes the Hindmost” race.

The Cougar relays were held on April 6 at Quince Orchard High School. The track meet begins with the annual “Devil Takes the Hindmost” event.

Dressed as the devil, QOHS Coach Seann Pelkey tracks the runners until a winner emerges.

For the second year in a row, Caroline Beakes of Bethesda-Chevy Chase won the girls race. She was followed by teammate Nora McUmber. Will Bertrand of Clarksburg won the boys race.
