Council President Craig Rice to Meet with Media on July 28
Montgomery County Council President Craig Rice is scheduled to meet with members of the media at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 28, to discuss key items that will be facing the County Council and its respective committees in the near future.
Among the issues he will discuss is the possible impact on Montgomery County of unaccompanied minors entering the United States, which will be the subject of a Council discussion at the general session of July 29. He also will discuss the White Oak Science Gateway Master Plan, which the Council is scheduled to address on July 29.
Council President Rice’s meeting with media members will be held in the 6th floor conference room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.
Rice also will discuss the policy of artificial turf fields being installed at Montgomery County high schools. A field, which would be paid for through a special arrangement that includes private funding, is currently proposed for installment at Churchill High School in Potomac.
