County Offers Free Rabies Vaccination Clinics (VIDEO)

Montgomery County requires that all dogs and cats, four months of age and older, must have a current rabies vaccination and a county pet license.  The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center will hold two more free rabies vaccination clinics this year.

Rabies vaccination clinics are held on the third Sunday of each month from 8 – 10:30 a.m. at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center, at 7315 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood.

Gaithersburg, Rockville and Montgomery County cats and dogs can be vaccinated for rabies for free after pet licenses are purchased at the clinic. There is a $4 fee for ferrets and out of county residents.

Upcoming clinics will be held August 21 and September 18.
