Day 2 – Rain Drops & Bloggies

Rain drops did not deter our Backpack Journalists today! We had an action packed, full filled day today at MCM’s Summer Backpack Journalism Academy session 1! After reviewing yesterday’s class, our journalists learned how to use the Sony Bloggie camera and tackled the scavenger hunt in the drizzle.  The afternoon included interview techniques and everyone had a chance to practice their interview skills on each other.  More ideas were flowing freely today and these journalists are ready to get their stories told!  If you see one of journalists this week, stop and give them a quote or two. They are hitting the streets this afternoon, so here we go!  They begin to edit their stories on Monday!
