Del Frisco’s Grille to Open at Pike & Rose in Mid-September
The Grille will serve twists on American comfort cuisine under the direction of Executive Chef Cody Lynch.
Fans of the Grille will delight in a familiar menu featuring fresh cuisine that includes cheesesteak eggrolls with sweet & spicy chili sauce, chopped ahi tacos stuffed with tuna tartare and avocado, and wood-fired flatbreads. Staying true to The Grille’s tradition of premium steaks and seafood, the stars of the menu include prime New York strip, sole francese with lump crab & chive-lemon butter, and jumbo lump crabcake sliders served with frites & Old Bay tartar sauce.
The Grille’s modern design blends a number of dining areas situated around a sleek wraparound bar. The bar sits below a lofted mezzanine where guests can enjoy the show of an open presentation kitchen. An impressive glass-walled wine room provides for semi-private occasions at an energetic table for ten. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sunlight and contrast to an industrial design complemented by rich dark wood, fir beams, metal wall accents, and polished concrete floors. Crimson and gold furniture, carpeting, drapes, and fixtures offer warmth while adding a layer of sophistication and style to the whole experience.
A similar color scheme and design extend to the Grille’s expansive outdoor dining areas. Retractable windows lining the façade open out to a lively patio surrounded by lush greenery. Encased in sleek glass and wood railings, the outdoor space features custom umbrellas and ample shade for relaxed, al fresco dining almost any time of year.
“The experience at the Grille is as much about the food and drink as it is about the vibe,” said General Manager Rahsaan Stone. “Our dining room will be exciting and friendly with great music. I hope it becomes a place where people can just get together to share good food and enjoy themselves.”
The Grille is the first commercial tenant to open at Pike & Rose, a new urban area located at the intersection of Montrose Parkway, Rockville Pike and Old Georgetown Road. Once complete, Pike & Rose will feature 430,000 square feet of retail, 1,500 new residences, 1.1 million square feet of offices and a luxury hotel.
The Grille will be open regularly Monday through Saturday for lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. until 11pm. Sunday brunch is available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
