The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Orchestra and Chorus presents “A Winter Concert”

December 9, 7:00 pm at Cedar Lane Unitarian Church.


The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Orchestra and Chorus will present “A Winter Concert” on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Lane Unitarian Church, 9601 Cedar Lane, Bethesda, Maryland. This one-time only performance will feature timeless orchestral and choral classics, as well as two conductors. The Orchestra will perform Elgar’s Wand of Youth Suite No. 1, Tchaikovsky’s Selections from the Nutcracker, and Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival. The Chorus will join with the Orchestra in performing selections from Berlioz’s L’Enfance du Christ, and Darby/Simeone’s ‘Twas the Night before Christmas. The concert is free of charge and parking is free as well. Free will donations are welcome to benefit the NIH charities. A reception will immediately follow the concert.
