Trone Plans Meeting on Opioids

David Trone, Democratic candidate for Congress in Maryland’s 6th District, has planned a community service meeting to discuss opioids.

Free and open to the public, the meeting will allow members of the community to engage with experts and ask questions about how best to address the opioid crisis. The opioid issue has personally affected Trone. His nephew Ian lost his life to opioid overdose in late 2016.

Trone also recently released his 12 Action Steps to Combat the Opioid Epidemic, where he lays out what changes he wants to fight for in Congress to combat this crisis.

The meeting will take place in Room 121 at The Johns Hopkins University Montgomery County Campus,
9605 Medical Center Drive, Rockville, MD 20850
