2. The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center is hoping to “Clear the Shelter” this Saturday.

3. The “Black Lives Matter” sign outside a Bethesda church was vandalized again.

4. The Town of Poolesville plans to celebrate the opening of the Dollar General store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Saturday on Fisher Avenue.

5. Montgomery Parks officials are advising residents to use caution when visiting Lake Needwood and Lake Frank.
