Five Things to Know Today, Feb. 9, in Montgomery County

Here are five things to known today, Feb. 9, in Montgomery County:

1. Bundle up. It’s going to be a cold day and the winds are expected to pick up later today. You may want to leave for work or school early because wet roads may slow the commute.

2. In Wheaton, enjoy coffee with a cop from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the McDonalds in the Westfield Wheaton mall food court.

3. The Planning Board will hold its second work session on the White Flint 2 Sector Plan. Peruse the Board’s full agenda, here.

4. In Bethesda, an interfaith workship service is scheduled from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church. Join Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith leaders for a service of prayers, singing, reflection, solidarity and hope.

5. In Rockville, a Town Hall meeting on diversity takes place from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Rockville Senior Center and you are invited to join the conversation.
