1. Confederate Monument: Rockville leaders will discuss the county-owned confederate monument near the Red Brick Courthouse at a meeting tonight at City Hall. Follow @MyMCMedia on Twitter for updates from the meeting.

2. Kentlands Retaining Wall: The Kentlands Citizens Assembly (KCA) is asking for $900,000 from the city of Gaithersburg to help fix a retaining wall that runs along Quince Orchard Road.

3. Budget Savings Plan: Two County Council committees will be reviewing proposed budget reductions today. Read County Executive Ike Leggett’s latest memo to Council President George Leventhal about the budget savings plan here.

4. Identity Theft: It can happen to anyone. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh says his identity was stolen earlier this year.

5. Washington Spirit: The Washington Spirit remain undefeated at home after the team’s Saturday night win, 3-0, against the Seattle Reign FC. Defender Ali Krieger and goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris both held news conferences about their World Cup experience before Saturday night’s game.
