Holiday shopping safety campaign: Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will be joined by public safety officials in Clarksburg today to discuss the importance of shopping safety when you are out and about this holiday season. Police officers and firefighters are expected to launch the “Shop with a Cop or Firefighter” campaign.

3. Rental housing discussion: The County Council’s Planning, Housing and Economic Development (PHED) Committee is scheduled to discuss the Planning Department’s rental housing study at 1:30 p.m. today.
