1. The unofficial Primary Election results are posted on the Montgomery County Board of Elections website. County Executive Ike Leggett and the incumbent County Councilmembers (democrats) all are moving onto the General Election in November. In the county’s District 3 Council race, Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz has won over 40-percent of the vote. There is no Republican challenger in this race. In the District 5 Council race, Tom Hucker has a slight edge over Evan Glass.

2. A tick drag in a Gaithersburg neighborhood nets results.

3. Tiger Woods talked with the media on Tuesday about his recovery. The patriotic opening ceremony of the Quicken Loans National takes place today.

4. Police have charged a Hyattsville man with four counts of bank robbery.

5. The city of Gaithersburg is hosting the Hershey Track and Field Maryland championship this Saturday.
