Flags Lowered to Half-Staff Friday for Patriot Day

President Donald Trump has ordered the United States flag flown at half-staff on Friday, September 11, 2020 from sunrise to sunset. The Maryland flag is lowered to half-staf as no flag may fly higher than the United States flag.

This is in honor of Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance, in respect and memory of the victims who died as a result of the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.
