Flooding at Silver Spring International Middle School (Video)

Silver Spring International Middle School PTSA President Heather Powers Sauter captured the following video of flooding at the school during exam week on Jan. 8.

A pipe ruptured on the third floor of the school around 4 p.m., displacing a total of 45 classes.

Montgomery County PTA members are in the process of lobbying legislators in Annapolis for $750 million for school construction.

The Maryland General Assembly is expected to take on the issue in March.
