Hearing Set for Man Accused of Kidnapping Judge
Rickley Senning, has been charged with kidnapping, assault and related offenses from an incident in May 2014 involving Montgomery County Judge Audrey Creighton.
Senning’s charges stem from a May 19, 2014 incident in which he assaulted Creighton at the home they lived in and then forced her to drive her vehicle toward the Gaithersburg area, according to court records. In an attempt to escape from Senning, Creighton pulled the vehicle into a Harris Teeter parking lot in Germantown and jumped from the vehicle, according to the records. Senning then allegedly took the vehicle and crashed a short distance away, seriously injuring two people in another vehicle, the records indicate.
Because Creighton is a Montgomery County judge, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office has recused themselves from the case and asked the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office to handle all matters related to it.
