Insomnia Tip (Video)

Stuart Rosenthal, editor of The Beacon discusses the recent issue’s article on insomnia. New studies show the effects of blue light on melatonin levels in the brain. Melatonin is one of the factors the body uses to determine if it is daytime or night time. Seniors may want to avoid television at night and make sure they spend some time outside during the day to help avoid insomnia.
