Meet Damascus Star Running Back Jake Funk (VIDEO)

Star running back Jake Funk has set and reset state records and led the Damascus Swarmin’ Hornets to an undefeated season and a state championship. Next year, he will be playing for the Maryland Terps. MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke reports.

In case you are wondering about those state records, Funk set the Maryland state record for the number of touchdowns in a single season at the end of November when he scored his 50th. He scored seven more in the championship game.
