Message from the Universe: Manifestation comes AFTER belief

“Wanting something means you believe you don’t have it.

Which you don’t want to believe or you may never get it.

Instead, you can recognize that which you don’t yet have by giving thanks, in advance, for receiving it.

Cool,
The Universe”©Mike Dooley, http://tut.com

By perceiving things differently, your attitude changes accordingly. When you create a need or a want in your mind, you are starting to create a process where the mind feels there is a lack of something. You train the mind to look for whatever you desire the most without being able to obtain it, unless you are Zuckerburg and can afford whatever you want in life. This desire becomes an obsession because your needs are not being met. Is this need superficial in nature or what you desire is a matter of life or death? Are you just filling a gap to appease an emotional void or what you desire the most will be a life changing situation for you? Many times in your life, you will come across material things that you crave for but can’t get it because of not being able to afford it. You start feeling down on yourself because of that reason. You forget most of what you already possess, which for many other unfortunate people, would consider you very well off.

As a new year resolution, why don’t you just take some time and sit down at a table at home, look around you, see what you already have and start giving thanks. Write down the things you’ve amassed all through 2015 and give thanks for that. Be grateful for the big screen TV you bought during the holidays, be thankful for the food you see inside the fridge, the bed you sleep in at night, the couch and dining table you sit in to write all these thankful notes. Start evaluating what you have instead of what you DON’T have or what you DESIRE to have. These craving feeling for another asset is temporary, especially when you start justifying the need for that item. You will start wondering the real purpose of this item, if it’s a MUST or will it just become DUST  laying in the book shelves. Figure out why you REALLY need that thing you want the most. Once you come up with an answer, start being thankful and experience the feeling like you already have it. Look around you again and imagine this thing in your living room, and thank again that you have received it. It might feel like you are just kidding yourself here, but you are not. The mind can create vision that your eyes can’t see, and that is what we call IMAGINATION. Once you start thanking in advance for the things you do not yet possess, you are letting the Universe know about what you want, and by believing that you really need it, there is no reason why it shouldn’t manifest itself in your possession. Just keep your eyes open!
