Montgomery College Presents The Unmentionables

unmentionables2The Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center presents the comedy The Unmentionables by Bruce Norris today through Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. Thanks to their missionary zeal, a motley crew of do-gooder Americans stirs up tension and trouble in a remote African village. A wealthy entrepreneur, a pair of Christian charity workers, and a flamboyant government official get caught in a web of good intentions and bad judgments in this scathingly funny and provocative new work. Written by Bruce Norris, this explosive satire was produced at Woolly Mammoth Theatre after startling audiences during its world premiere at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre. Tickets are $10, $8 for seniors and students. The Arts Center is located on Montgomery College’s Rockville campus at 51 Mannakee St, Rockville.

Contains mature themes and/or language that some patrons may find objectionable.
