Montgomery County Council Recognizes Korean American Day (VIDEO)

The Montgomery County Council presented a proclamation during its first legislative session of the new year to recognize Korean American Day, which was celebrated on Jan. 13 while the Council was on recess.

Korean American Day honors the contributions of the Korean American community to the United States and commemorates the day in 1903 when the first Korean immigrants arrived to America in Honolulu, Hawaii.
