Nancy Floreen Says Term Limits Vote Was No Surprise (VIDEO)

In an interview the day after the election, Montgomery County Council President Nancy Floreen said the vote for term limits, limiting county council members and the county executive to three consecutive terms, came as no surprise.

County Councilmembers Floreen, Roger Berliner, George Leventhal and Marc Elrich are currently serving their third term on the Council. County Executive Ike Leggett has publicly said he will not seek a fourth term as executive.

According to unofficial election results, over 68 percent of Montgomery County voters said yes to term limits.
