Paint Branch’s Offensive Explosion Ends Blair’s Undefeated Start

Coming into Friday night’s game at Paint Branch, Blair was riding high starting the season 3-0, largely led by their defense.

The Blazers’ defense had allowed only 14 combined points in the three previous games, while Paint Branch’s offense had averaged 36 points per game in their first three games.

The Panthers’ offense moved the ball effectively throughout the game and kept Blair’s defense on their heels.

Paint Branch led 19-7 at halftime after a scoreless first quarter. They led 25-13 after three quarters then scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth to win 38-13.

Paint Branch improved to 3-1. They play Wheaton on Friday at 7 pm. Blair fell to 3-1. Up next for the Blazers is Blake on the road Friday at 6:30 pm.
