Detectives from the Montgomery County Police- 4th District Investigations Section are investigating a shooting that occurred on March 29 in the 2700 block of Spartan Road in Olney. Detectives have released video surveillance of a vehicle of interest and suspect.
According too police, the initial investigation has revealed that a white Ford Fusion with minor front end damage was observed in the bus turn-around of the parking lot at Brooke Grove Elementary School. Multiple individuals were observed in and around the vehicle. An unknown Black male suspect, who was observed outside of Ford, discharged a firearm multiple times and then left the scene on foot. No one was injured during the shooting. The vehicle was then seen driving away from the scene.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation according to police.
