Police Need Help to Identify Burglary Suspect (Photo)
Montgomery County police have released a surveillance photo of a commercial burglary suspect and ask for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
Detectives have been investigating a commercial burglary that occurred at approximately 9:57 a.m. on June 20 in Silver Spring.
Officers responded to the Obesity Society located at 8757 Colesville Road for the report of a burglary that had occurred earlier. Police said their investigation revealed that the suspect had entered the building and then forced entry into the Obesity Society office suite. Once inside the suite, police said, the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the building. The suspect was captured on surveillance video leaving the building at approximately 9:00 a.m,. according to police.
Police released this suspect description: a black male, age 28 to 35, 5’8″ to 5’10″ tall, with a heavy build with black, medium-length hair. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and Nike high-top sneakers. The sneakers were white and aqua blue with orange trim.
