Police Need Your Help to Find a Missing Rockville Woman (PHOTO)

TonyaSimms (1)Montgomery County Police are asking for your help to find a missing Rockville woman.

Police are concerned for the emotional and physical welfare of Tonya Simms, age 45, of the 14200 block of Chadwick Lane in Rockville. According to police, she was last seen on Oct. 20 at approximately 1:30 p.m. when she left her group home and told other residents that she was going to go for a walk.

Tonya Simms is described by police as a black female, 5’ 4” tall, and weighs approximately 181 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a red sweater, a blue hooded jacket, and black sneakers.

According to police, she is familiar with public transportation and frequents shops in the Aspen Hill area.

Anyone with any information regarding Simms’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police Department at 301.279.8000.
