Powerball Jackpot Rolls Over to $1.3 Billion

Powerball Jackpot The Powerball Jackpot is rolling over after there were no jackpot winners for Saturday’s drawing.

That means the estimated Powerball Jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $1.3 billion, and that’s the largest jackpot in history.

Maryland Lottery officials are reporting that someone, who purchased a second-tier ticket at a Food Lion in Berlin, Maryland, is a $1 million ticket winner. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person.

According to lottery officials, there were a total of 28 second-tier-winning tickets sold throughout the country — that breaks down to 25 $1 million wins and three winners who purchased the Power Play option and won $2 million.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 9th jackpot were: 32-16-19-57-34, Powerball: 13.

Save the date: the next Powerball Jackpot drawing takes place on Jan. 13th.

Your odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 292 million to 1. Overall, the odds of winning any prize are about 25 to 1, according to Maryland lottery officials.
