Rain in the Forecast This Week

rainydayMontgomery County residents may find their commute to work and school slowed by wet roads on Tuesday morning.

On his Twitter account, Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer is advising drivers to slow down and to increase stoppage distance between vehicles. He also reminds motorists to turn their headlights on if they are using their windshield wipers. It’s the law.

The rain is on its way out this morning but more wet weather is expected tomorrow – Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Don’t forget your raincoat and umbrella.
