After announcing Wednesday evening that schools would be opening two hours late Thursday due to emergency weather conditions, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) officials decided to close schools.
School and administrative offices are scheduled to open two hours late. Childcare programs in school building may open by 9 a.m.
