Simon Says… by Leonel Sanchez October 24, 2012
Hello to everyone reading this blog! My name is Leonel and I am a peer instructor this year at Eastern Middle School. I love being a peer instructor; I like working with the kids as well as with the adults in the program. My favorite activity was when we did an icebreaker called “Simon says, Who Are You.” We did this icebreaker to show that everyone is different and no one should be made fun of for his or her differences. We got to know the students better and they got to know each other better. This semester students are learning how to take pictures and study what makes a good photograph. They are taking pictures that talk about their school’s values: respect responsibility, and relationships. This week, they took pictures of what they thought represented respect. So in conclusion being a peer instructor is awesome!
