State Highway Crews Repaving ICC’s Northbound Ramp at I-95
Commuters take note and plan accordingly. State highway administration crews are resurfacing the northbound I-95 ramp to the ICC in Prince George’s County tonight and there will be detours.
All traffic lanes are scheduled to reopen no later than 5 a.m. on Friday.
The ramp closure will also impact accessibility to the following roads from northbound I-95 via the Intercounty Connector:
• US 29 (Columbia Pike);
• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway);
• US 1 (Baltimore Avenue; and
• MD 198 (Sandy Spring Road)
Drivers should continue on northbound I-95 to MD 216 (Scaggsville Road), continue on westbound MD 216 and take the ramp to southbound I-95 to access exits 31, 32 or 33. Motorists should plan extra travel time during the work.
Crews will return at 9 p.m. on Friday, Sunday and Monday to complete the ramp paving. All lanes will open by 5 a.m. Monday.
