Strathmore Presents AIR String Quartet invoke (Video)

Invoke, an innovative string quartet will perform Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mansion at Strathmore, 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda. This concert is part of Strathmore’s Artist in Residence program. Infusing elements of bluegrass, folk, and rock, invoke jams on fretted instruments like mandolin, banjo and dulcimer as well as the standard quartet complement of violins, viola, and cello. Believing that the string quartet remains one of the most maneuverable ensembles, invoke aims to reinvent the string quartet as a relevant 21st century medium.

Tickets are $17 and may be purchased by calling 301.581.5100 or online at Strathmore website.
