The Wild Reeds Perform at Strathmore (VIDEO)
The Wild Reeds will perform tonight at Strathmore in North Bethesda at 7 p.m.
According to their website, this LA-based band was formed in 2009 and is fronted by three singer-songwriters Kinsey Lee, Mackenzie Howe and Sharon Silva. Their music draws from many genres including folk and rock ‘n’ roll, but clearly harmony defines their sound. Their formal debut album “Blind and Brave” was released in August 2014 and explores loss, love, growing up and the experiences of pursuing one’s dreams.
Tonight’s concert is part of Strathmore‘s outdoor summer concert series. The free concerts take place on Wednesday evenings from now through August 24 at the Gudelsky Concert Pavilion Gazebo at 5301 Tuckerman Lane in North Bethesda. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or low beach chairs.
