Wind Advisory Could Impact Wednesday’s Commute

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Montgomery County which could impact Wednesday’s commute home.

According to the advisory, wind gusts up to 60 mph are likely until 7:00 p.m.

“When there are high winds like this, things can fall down,” Jeremy Geiger, meteorologist for the National Weather Service, said. “We are telling people to be mindful of trees, loose branches, and power lines.”

Officials warn drivers to use caution and to allow extra time to reach your final destinations.
