What is your role in the community?

“I own an insurance brokerage firm specializing in individual and group benefits to include health, life, disability, long term care, pension and property and casualty. My role is to help individuals and companies provide affordable benefits. My role is to be a leader contributing to efforts needed in the community, to extend my knowledge and make opportunities to help others.”

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?

“Women’s History Month is a month of celebration for women who have contributed knowledge, time and skills to make the world a better place. It is a time that we can reflect on the  contributions woman have made through the obstacles they have had to endure and the responsibilities they partake in as a woman.”

What do you think needs to happen most for women in Montgomery County?

“Women need to empower themselves and be empowered by others. They need to be given a chance to make a difference and be given the time and space to act upon their intuition, knowledge and skills.”

What inspires you?

“I am inspired but the chance to make a difference for people in this world. If I can do that, then I have a purpose.”
