County Search and Rescue Teams Assist in Parking Garage Collapse in D.C.

Three Montgomery County Search and Rescue teams headed to D.C. to help in the search for anyone injured when a parking garage collapsed at a Watergate complex.

According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer, Montgomery County sent three live search and rescue teams with one handler and one dog on each team to aid in the search. According to reports the collapse happened at about 10 a.m. and at least one person may have been injured.
