I now live in Ohio but always keep an eye of my birth state and one point I rarely hear is for Virginia to get bluer just where are they coming from Maryland. This explains Maryland’s change over the last 15+ years, you mentioned Sauerbrey, then Ehrlich and now Hogan. Sauerbrey could have won if she were in modern Maryland but not when she ran. But many Marylanders have moved into Northern Virginia and taken their liberal politics with them. I think it’s about time personally Hogan isn’t trying to jam Republicanism down Marylanders throats just balanced responsible spending. Jealous is promising pie in the sky and sadly for him way to soon after O’Malley. Marylanders want politicians who realize they don’t have national power just run the state in budgets deal with necessary issues and stay out of Washington politics.
