1. Awards Night: The Montgomery County Volunteer Center hands out its Montgomery Serves Awards at 6:30 p.m. at Imagination Stage in Bethesda.

2. Another Day Older …: The Montgomery County Council’s Government Operations Committee is examining the debt service in County Executive Ike Leggett’s proposed fiscal 2019 budget. The meeting starts at 9:25 a.m. in the Seventh Floor Conference Room.

3. School Board Hopefuls: A forum to learn more about the people seeking a seat on the Montgomery County Board of Education takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Gaithersburg High School.

4. Serving Up New Ideas: Montgomery County Parks is looking for ideas for the tennis courts at Columbia Local Park. A community meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Marilyn J. Praisner Community Rec Center.
