1. Sidewalk Closure: A portion of the sidewalk at 7900 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda is scheduled to close today through Sept. 22. A pedestrian walkway, concrete barriers and site fencing will be installed.

2. Park It: Montgomery County is celebrating International Parking Day with creative spaces in Bethesda and Silver Spring.

3. Anniversary Celebration: The Arts Barn in Gaithersburg celebrates its 15th anniversary with a reception, live music, demonstrations by resident artists, an exhibition of historical photographs depicting the Tschiffely-Kent estate, and remarks and a proclamation by the Mayor and City Council. Wear the number 15 in honor of this milestone year for a chance to win a prize.
