1. If you are commuting on Metrorail’s Red Line, prepare for possible service delays today. According to WMATA, Red Line trains will single track between Medical Center and Van Ness stations (between 10 a.m. –  3 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to closing) so maintenance crews can address water and mud infiltration.

2. The Town of Poolesville is celebrating Arbor Day.

3. Local officials are launching a Zika virus awareness campaign this morning in Rockville. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has scheduled a news conference to talk about the Zika virus later today.

4. It’s time to clean out your medicine cabinet. Local law enforcement agencies are taking part in the national Prescription Drug Take Back Day tomorrow.
