3. Gaithersburg Police Chief updated city leaders about the Lake Forest Mall stabbing at a meeting on Monday.

4. Black Hill Nature Programs will be celebrating the start of winter with a Winter Solstice Night Hike today. The hike will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., you can register here.

5. The Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club will feature performances by Gary Grainger and Friends tonight at 8 p.m.
