1. Schools Close Early:  Montgomery County Public Schools close early today.

2. Doug Kammerer: NBC4 chief meteorologist Doug Kammerer talks about forecasting bad weather on the latest episode of MoCo’s Most Famous with Joe Yasharoff. Take a listen:

3. Film Screening: The film “This Little Light of Mine: The Legacy of Fannie Lou Hamer” will be screened tonight at the BlackRock Center for the Arts. A panel discussion will follow the screening. Light refreshments will be served.

4. Brews and Bulbs:  Staff from the Department of Environmental Protection will be at Saints Row Brewing Company in Rockville today from 5 to 7 p.m. Residents can swap out old incandescent or CFL light bulbs for up to three free LED light bulbs.

And one more thing:  Artists & Makers Studios in Rockville are celebrating their fourth anniversary. The artwork of more than 150 artists will be on display from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
