1. The Maryland Department of Agriculture’s Mosquito Control Program is scheduled to do a truck-mounted mosquito control spraying tonight in the Strawberry Knolls area of Gaithersburg.

2. The Maryland State Police Department announced that troopers plan to set up a sobriety checkpoint today in the county.

3. Montgomery Parks will be offering free massages from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Caroline Freeland Urban Park.

4. Federal, state, local agencies, and nonprofits will be hosting a recovery workshop at the Long Branch Community Center for those affected by the Flower Branch Apartments explosion. Experts will provide advice on financial recovery and resources.

5. The Takoma Park Community Center will feature a lecture on Tokyo Jazz by William Scally tonight.
