1. Rainy Day: The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning from now thru 11 a.m. for Montgomery County. A flash flood watch continues thru Friday morning as well.

2. Underage Drinking: A Town Hall meeting is scheduled tonight at Walter Johnson High School to discuss underage drinking. Follow @MyMCMedia on Twitter for updates from the meeting.

3. Police Update: Montgomery County police officers are holding a news conference today to discuss a fatal hit and run collision that occurred last month on Layhill Road. Police officers are expected to release new information in this case.

4. Transit Talk: Purple Line Now is hosting a forum to discuss Denver’s P3 commuter rail project tonight.

5. Author Talk:  Professor Clarence Lusane of Howard University is talking about his new book, The Black History of the White House, this evening at the Silver Spring Library.

One More Thing:  Montgomery County’s PEG-TV channels will begin broadcasting in high definition this weekend.
