High Wind Warning Issued for Tuesday

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a High Wind Warning for Montgomery County beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday through 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. Expect sustained winds of 25 – 40 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph. Winds this strong may cause down trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

NWS warns residents to avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
