Update: NWS Expands Winter Weather Advisory for Entire County

Update: The National Weather Service has expanded the winter weather advisory to include all of Montgomery County. The advisory is in effect from Thursday evening through Friday morning and calls for light to moderate accumulations of snow.

The advisory for up-county or Northwest Montgomery County may be found here. The prediction is for one to two inches of snow falling from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday.

The advisory for down-county may be found here. Total snow accumulations of around one inch are predicted between 6 p.m. this evening to 4 a.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Northwest Montgomery County, which could affect Thursday evening commutes.

According to the advisory, snow is likely to start Thursday afternoon and continue into Friday morning. Total snow accumulation is predicted to be one to two inches.

The advisory is in effect from Thursday at 4 p.m. to Friday at 4 a.m.

A winter weather advisory for snow means that snow Thursday afternoon has the potential to disrupt travel. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibility.
